Early 1900’s Eclectic-Chic Home

This renovated early 1900s farmhouse sleeps up to 10 with a fully stocked Viking kitchen suite, amazing interior, Matteo brand linens - every detail has been thought of! Off the kitchen is a private master bedroom suite with full bath and its own porch. Three additional bedrooms share a full bath with walk-in shower. The second bedroom has 1 queen sized bed. Third bedroom has 2 sets of twin bunks and the fourth bedroom has 1 twin bunk. Large front porch for viewing beautiful sunrises and a back porch for the famous Round Top sunsets and entertaining. Soak in the Victorian clawfoot tub while enjoying your favorite libation or relax by a campfire under the stars and do some grillin’.

FarmHouze guests will enjoy using our EV Charging Station.

There is plenty to see and do on the property as well. The FarmHouze is located on a very private 2-acre parcel next to Recycling The Past and The Flophouze Shipping Container Hotel. Guests of the FarmHouze may access the shipping container pool at The FlopHouze which is only a short walk away. Bikes are available as well for those who want to get little exercise.

The interior was designed by Webber/Wheeler of Seattle, WA and furnished by Recycling The Past. All items in the home are FOR SALE as well - so you can leave with that art you admire.

Our entire property is available for private events, corporate gatherings or wellness retreats. Recycling The Past, The Round Top Ballroom, The Flophouze Hotel and The Farmhouse can all be reserved for special occasions.

Welcome to the RanchHouze- a wonderful and unique dual hacienda situated on 10 pastoral acres of beautiful oaks and rolling pastures. Comfortably appointed in our eco-chic Flophouze style, there are two private dwellings under one roof - rent one or both. Great for large groups! 

Located only a few hundred yards from Marberger Farm and the Compound Antique Shows, the RanchHouze is perfectly situated for those who want to get away from the hustle and bustle but also be in the middle of it all! The property is less than 2 miles from the center of Round Top and just 3 miles from Recycling The Past/Flophouze (our mothership property).

The West Wing: Sleeps up to 8 - 2 bedrooms each with 2 queen beds, 2 full baths, fully equipped kitchen, large great room, pool table and washer/dryer.

The East Wing: Sleeps up to 10 - 4 bedrooms - 2 queen beds, 2 twin bunk beds and 1 king bed in the master suite, 2 full baths, fully equipped kitchen, living room, library and washer/dryer.

Both wings include an outdoor grill, hammocks in the yard, a communal fire pit, and bicycles with helmets.

Perched proudly in the Flophouze fleet, The Barn is more than just a place to stay – it’s an immersive journey into the art of salvage and sustainable design. This reimagined barn showcases our unparalleled design capabilities, blending rustic charm with modern comfort, and features reclaimed materials that tell stories of their own.

Located on a very private 2-acre parcel adjacent to Recycling The Past and the Flophouze Shipping Container Hotel, The Barn offers both seclusion and connection. Guests have access to the shipping container pool at Flophouze—just a short walk away—and can explore the surrounding area on bikes, available for guest use.

Starting with the footprint of an old animal barn, we let creativity run wild. The main structural timbers, rescued from a historic building in New Jersey, have been given new life, even forming the show-stopping main staircase. Upstairs, the wood floors come from reclaimed horse paddock fencing, while the downstairs floors – including the bedroom and kitchen – are crafted from salvaged dead and downed trees. The concrete floors in the main living area have been refinished to preserve their raw beauty.

A second-story deck offers a peaceful perch to enjoy sweeping views of the surrounding pastures, while strategically placed windows bring the outside in, making you feel part of the landscape. Inside, the kitchen is a cook’s dream—featuring a 36” Wolf stove and Sub-Zero refrigerator, paired with thoughtfully selected, high-end finishes.

In the bathrooms, heated floors and towel racks provide added comfort. A baby grand piano in the living area adds a unique and elegant touch, and our selection of furniture—including couches and tables—is updated regularly to ensure a fresh and distinctive experience for returning guests.

With 4 bedrooms and 2 baths (2 queens, 1 king, and a set of bunks), The Barn comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests, making it the perfect retreat for families or groups seeking a one-of-a-kind, eco-friendly escape.
