A “houze” that feels like home is what you’ll find at Flophouze, a hotel in Round Top whose rooms are converted shipping containers. Don’t worry, they’re so much nicer than they sound. Fully furnished and equipped with both indoor and outdoor amenities akin to a 5-star, luxury resort, you’ll never want to leave your humble little abode.

Each houze is complete with a hammock, firepit, and comfy chairs outside for you to relax and take in the beautiful Round Top sunsets.

There are three different houzes, each sleeping up to four people and featuring either a queen or two twin beds, a Hollywood bathroom, and a kitchenette.

The interiors are fashioned with recycled material from around the country - for example, the kitchen cabinets are old bowling alley floors!

Those big, beautiful glass windows were salvaged from a school all the way in Philadelphia that was scheduled for demolition. That's reuse if I've ever seen it.

You'll find vintage artifacts from the famous Round Top Antique Show adorning your abode, some originating from all over the world.
