step 1: Property Checklist

In order to begin, we need to take a closer look at the property the FLOPHOUZE will be situated on. 

We ask that prior to completing the next step that you get the following property details in order:

Zoning & Permitting Requirements

Ask the department about the rules, regulations and covenants that are associated within your zone. While asking these questions, keep in mind that you are specifically trying to identify any written rules that exclude building with shipping containers or modular (prefab) homes.

Delivery & Crane Access

Ensure that a crane will be able to have ample access to the property for delivery. 

Utility Connection Points

Water, Septic and Electrical will need to be installed on site prior to the delivery of your Flophouze

Specified Foundation System

There are several different Foundation systems. Be familiar with these options (Stem Wall, Concrete Piers, Diamond Piers) and see which one works best for your property
